‘What is the Designbuilder difference? It’s a way of building that ensures the client’s dream is fully realized by keeping design at the forefront of a seamless construction process.’—Lane Cooper

"I have this dream for my home..."

It starts with you. A need. A want. A desire. A something to turn the house you call home into the home of your dreams. Maybe that means a gourmet kitchen. Maybe it's an addition or a total house remodel. Maybe it's a whole new house. But right now it's an idea. A maybe-someday-wouldn't-it-be-great-if thought.  An aspiration. A dream.

At COOPER Designbuilders, we love to make dreams come true. And we've got a knack for getting to the heart of what you really want, starting with a design that has you saying:
"That's it! That's what I've been dreaming about."

This is our talent. We are not about telling you how it should be.
We are not about our style. We're about yours. We're about taking what you see in your mind's eye and transforming it into a finished product that fulfills your wildest imaginings. That brings you to that "ah ha" moment when you can say:
"That's exactly what I dreamed it would be."

That's our magic. It's at the heart of what it is to be a designbuilder:
putting design first and foremost, from the first sketches to the finished job. Painstakingly managing every step along the way, always with an eye to the finished look. All to deliver your dream.

DESIGNING WITH COOPER Designbuilders

The key difference is what happens
after the drawings are finished.

At COOPER Designbuilders, we operate on the premise that good construction cannot compensate for bad design. And builders, by their very nature, are not normally associated with refined design.

So, as designers who build, we take a different approach intimately involving the Project Designer in all aspects of the project's construction. The Project Designer is the "keeper of the dream," entrusted to make sure that the intent of the design is fulfilled in construction, down to the smallest detail.

The payoff comes at the end when the finished project turns out even better than you had imagined it. No disappointment. No "Gee, I didn't think it was going to look like that." By careful management of the entire project by your Project Designer and Construction Management Team‹nothing is left to chance or misinterpretation.

BUILDING WITH COOPER Designbuilders

The key difference is our system
of managing the details.

The construction process is rife with pitfalls.
It's the nature of the beast, as any builder will tell you. Every client's fear is that the job will somehow go sideways with lack of communication, undue delays and unanticipated cost overruns.

We'd be misleading if we told you that unexpected issues never happen. But we can also state‹unequivocally‹ that nobody has a more detailed management system to minimize those issues.

Our Project Managers and tradespeople
are experts in their fields and are backed by our 28-phase system that monitors every detail of your project. Each week during construction, you meet with both your Project Designer and Project Manager so you are always up to date and never out of the loop on any key decisions. Changes are documented as they happen‹with specifications and costs‹and are approved every time by you. No surprises after the fact.
Nothing left to chance.
