In this 6th video of the Rowland Addition, Lane Cooper discusses siding selections, electrical issues, and rough plumbing as we prepare to close up the interior walls. Please excuse our camera lens. During a recent remodeling project we had a opportunity to increase the energy efficiency of an existing home by adding insulation under the floor of the existing space. Besides improving the living experience for the homeowner, they will also receive cash back for this improvement. This is one of many examples where money is available to help incorporate energy efficiency into your home improvement project.
There are some incredible opportunities right now through the Energy Trust of Oregon as well as federal and state incentives to improve the energy use of your home. Hello there. I know it's been a while since our last posting. We've been busy here at COOPER Designbuilders - which is a good thing! I'll be posting more videos soon to catch up on our progress at the Rowland Addition. In this video, Lane walks us through a few of the design changes that sometimes happen on-site. Although we strive to "see" all of our built spaces in advance, occasionally better solutions arise once the designed spaces have been framed up and one can really get a feel for the surrounding elements.
