I wanted to write and let you know how much we are enjoying our remodeled home. All the space we now have flows smoothly from one room to the next and we are really enjoying its appearance and function both on the inside and outside. Out neighbors are happy that it fits in with the neighborhood well, and we are thrilled we have no leaks or walls falling apart, as we did with our former house!

Thanks for your commitment to our project and dealing with the City of Lake Oswego so patiently. We would, of course, use you again in the future for any changes and additions. Thanks, and best of luck with your new projects.

After the horrific experience in the completion of our home in 1997, what with builders who not only didn't complete the job but, who didn't pay subs and allowed liens to be placed on the projects, firing and hiring a new builder to finish the job, it was with much trepidation to search out a builder to complete the basement square footage (1500 sq. ft.) of our home.

After observing the work of a neighbors remodel on their home I inquired after the builder and asked if they were pleased with his work and they were delighted with the results. I have to admit my interest initially relied on the observed fact that the job had been done, completed!!! That spoke volumes to me, considering our first experience.

So it was with the above reference that led to my daughter Caren's and my introduction to Mr. Lane Cooper. What followed was a year of amazing transformation to our basement, watching everything from beginning to end. My daughter and I found Lane to be extremely professional, but personable and easy to get along with. Communication with Lane was always open and honest. It was extremely refreshing to meet someone on this business whose sole purpose was to do as he said and to keep you abreast of the situation both financially as well as the building process. He specifically kept us in touch with our goal financially so as we would not go overboard and is so precise in his measurements that at one point after the fireplace in the basement had been framed in, it was off by about one inch and he had them tear it apart and redo it. I probably would not have noticed this slight error but, to Lane it was important to the completion of that wall and his original specifications.

I have nothing but the highest regard and respect for Lane Cooper. He not only did a splendid job on our basement, standing behind his work and always being accessible, more importantly to me and my daughter Caren, Lane became a friend. Although, Caren and I look forward to living in our current home for a long time, I will always look forward to using Lane's talents in creating a new home for us in the future. Thank you Lane!!!

I just finished working with Lane Cooper in a complete remodeling of my father's condominium. My dad and I are both thrilled with the outcome and actually enjoyed the process. I would be happy to recommend Lane and his construction company for future remodeling or new home construction.

Lane is an outstanding individual who combines excellent construction experience with exceptional project management skills. My dad and I selected Lane for a variety of reasons that were important to us given the turnkey nature of our project. My father is a trial attorney and unavailable during the business day. I was managing the project on my father's behalf from phoenix, Arizona. As a result, we required a contractor who was trustworthy, organized, knowledgeable and accessible. Lane was able to provide details and solutions during all phases of construction. Finally, Lane provided exemplary customer service. The project lasted about eight weeks including the ordering of materials. During the course of the project, Lane and I were speaking several times a week. My father was making site visits in the early morning a couple times a week. Lane was willing to accommodate our odd schedules and proactively communicated on the project. The final project was first class and met all of our expectations.

Dear Lane,

You and Dave Partridge did a magnificent job following my requests. Cooper Designbuilders (formerly COA NW) converted the front of my 1933 riverfront home from a covered porch to a glass enclosed living room extension. The project entailed removal of the entire front of the home and adding major structural improvements. All of this was accomplished without us vacating the premises.
