We spend a lot of time walking and talking this through with you. Imagining together what the newly created space will do, how you will use it and relate to it. What it will do to traffic patterns and living space. What changes, if any, will need to be made to the existing house to accommodate it.

Once we have a thorough understanding of your needs and desires, we start organizing design elements. This is where the skill comes in. In order for your addition to integrate cohesively with the house as a whole, we must think through hundreds of details. All to get the look just right and to maintain your home¹s individual character.

In the end, it all comes together in a truly integrated addition that is sensitive, respectful, and balanced. For our goal is not only to make the addition look like it belongs, but to make it look like it should have been there in the first place.
